Earrings are the jewellery that shows most on the wedding day: they appear in every close-up photo. Choosing them well has less to do with fashion and more with three concrete things: the hairstyle, the neckline and how you like to wear jewellery the rest of the year.
Start with the hairstyle
With the hair up, the ear is in view and long earrings show in full. Ballerina, Ame or Hera are good options: drop, movement and light. With the hair down, a long earring gets lost in the hair; earrings with the pearl close to the lobe, like Sabi or Champagne, which peek through as you move your head, work better.
Then, the neckline
A dress with a closed neckline or a high neck calls for earrings with presence and no necklace. A V-neck or strapless dress allows a short necklace, like Royal or Eien, and then the earrings should be more discreet so as not to compete. The simple rule: one piece takes the lead, the rest accompany.
Pearls, almost always
Pearls are the bridal jewel by tradition, but also by light: they reflect the soft light of the face and do not dazzle in photos the way a cut stone does. Freshwater cultured pearls are also light, and that matters when you are going to wear the earrings for twelve hours.
Make them yours afterwards

Timing
Each piece is made by hand when you order it and takes between 7 and 10 working days, plus shipping. For a wedding, order them a month in advance.
