Origin

Julietas began with a commission. An inherited piece of jewellery that Andrea wanted to keep wearing, reworked into something that made sense again. The brand's first piece was, in fact, made to measure.

Since then, the atelier opens its door to anyone who wants to start from an idea of their own too.

What you can request

A new piece. A design from scratch, thought out with you. It can be your own idea, an inherited piece you want to reinterpret, a piece for an occasion, or something that doesn't exist at Julietas yet, like a bracelet, a bangle, whatever you imagine.

An existing piece, adapted. Any piece in the catalogue can be adjusted to you: size, type of pearl, length, finish. Small changes that make it yours.

Process

01. Tell me your idea. Write to me at atelier@thejulietas.com with whatever you have in mind. It doesn't need to be defined: an image, a reference or a paragraph is enough to begin.
02. We talk. By email or video call, calmly, to understand what you are looking for and suggest a way forward.
03. Proposal. I send you a proposal with a sketch, materials, timeline and quote. If it fits, we go ahead.
04. Handmade for you. The piece is worked one by one in the atelier. You'll be kept informed throughout the whole process.

What can be made to measure?

Earrings, rings, necklaces and ear cuffs with cultured pearls, natural stones, silver and gold plating. We also transform inherited jewellery you no longer wear into something new.

How much does a bespoke piece cost?

It depends on the design and the materials. We give you a fixed quote before starting, with no obligation. As a guide, a bespoke piece starts from the price of the closest collection piece.

How long does it take?

Between six and ten weeks from the moment we approve the design, depending on complexity. Collection pieces take 7 to 10 working days.

How does the process work?

You write to us with your idea or with photos of your jewel. We talk by email or video call, propose a design and a quote, and once you approve it we make it by hand in Madrid. We send you photos before it leaves for you.

Can I send you an inherited jewel?

Yes. First you send us photos by email or show it to us on a video call, and we tell you what can be done with it. The whole process is online. You only send it to us once you have decided we should transform it, and we return it turned into your new piece.
