Better not. Chlorinated or salt water and soaps dull the nacre and wear down the gold plating. Take them off before the shower, the pool and the sea.
With a soft, dry cloth after each wear, or a slightly damp one if they have been against the skin for many hours. No jewellery cleaners, vinegar, bicarbonate or brushes.
